Tama Pepakura Designer is embedded with support for computers that are running on compatible Windows-based systems. 3D files that are created using Softimage, 3D Studio and LightWave among other applications are supported by Tama Pepakura Designer, which means these digital 3D files can be loaded unto this software. Tama Pepakura Viewer is an application that can be used in tandem with Tama Pepakura Designer, a program used for generating 2D patterns from 3D paper craft model designs imported from supported third party 3D model creation and editing applications.
Tama Pepakura Viewer is integrated with enhanced features for viewing 3D paper craft model designs and its corresponding 2D patterns as generated by Tama Pepakura Designer. These features include separate 2D and 3D viewing interfaces that allow users to study the 3D and 2D paper craft design patters in detail. These 2D design patterns can be printed out for better and quicker reference, and Tama Pepakura Viewer provides a wider range of printing options than Tama Pepakura Designer. Tama Pepakura Viewer is freeware and is implemented with support for computers that are running on supported Windows-based systems.
